About Port Scarlett
I don't look for perfection. I look for presence.
Some objects have a quiet personality that asks you to notice them. It might be the color of a shell worn smooth by the sea, the unexpected pattern inside a stone, or simply an object whose character invites a second look.
Port Scarlett begins with that feeling.
Every piece starts with an object that already feels complete in its own way. My role isn't to transform it into something else, but to create jewelry that honors what made me stop and look in the first place.
I don't choose materials because they're rare or perfect. I choose them because they have something to say. Sometimes that's found in a gemstone. Sometimes it's a shell, a fragment, or something entirely unexpected. The material matters less than the feeling it carries.
I want the finished piece to keep that feeling alive. It should feel as though it always belonged this way, waiting to be noticed.
Port Scarlett is an invitation to slow down, look closely, and discover beauty in things that don't ask for attention.
